Where Toolfy Is Available
Toolfy is optimised for UK and North American field-service businesses. This article outlines which regions we officially support, how billing works, and what to do if you operate outside those markets.
Supported markets
Pick the market that matches your billing currency and regulatory needs.
Supported
United Kingdom & Ireland
- Billing in GBP (£)
- VAT invoices with reverse-charge support
- UK date/time formats and address fields
All marketing content and the help centre default to UK English. Direct debit / bank transfer support is in research.
Supported
United States, Canada & US territories
- Billing in USD ($)
- ACH (US) payments and US tax fields
- Support hours aligned to GMT mornings ↔ US afternoons
Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, and US Virgin Islands route to the US market configuration.
Toolfy automatically picks a market based on your IP or signup country. Override it anytime from the currency toggle on the pricing page or by contacting support.
Billing, taxes, and payouts
Currencies
Subscription invoices charge in GBP for UK customers and USD for US/Canada customers. The currency shown on your pricing page propagates through onboarding, invoices, and the help centre.
Payment collection
Stripe Connect powers all money-path features. Toolfy supports domestic card rates in the UK and US, plus ACH in the US. Cross-border cards are allowed but may cost more per Stripe’s pricing.
Tax handling
UK invoices show VAT with reverse-charge wording when applicable. US invoices show sales tax where Toolfy is required to collect. Add your tax details under Settings → Business Profile.
Language & support hours
Product copy, notifications, and help content are English-only today. Support replies within two UK business hours (8am–6pm GMT) and monitors critical tickets around the clock.
Operating outside supported regions
Billing & banking
You can technically sign up from any country, but payouts and taxes are only localised for the regions above. If your bank operates outside the UK/US, Stripe may require additional verification or reject transfers.
Workarounds
- Use CSV exports for accounting systems we don’t support yet.
- Send invoices in GBP or USD and let customers pay via card (banks handle conversion).
- Add localisation requests when you contact support so we can log interest.
Need a contract that lists a different currency or tax ID? Email sales@toolfy.io and reference the legal entity you need on paperwork.
Roadmap & how to influence it
We track every market request. These initiatives are already on the roadmap, but sequence depends on customer demand.
Eurozone
Toolfy is evaluating SEPA payouts and euro-denominated pricing. Share your country + banking requirements with support to join the pilot list.
Spanish localisation
Help articles and UI are English-only today. Spanish UI + docs are on the long-term roadmap once we nail coverage for UK/US customers.
To join a pilot or request localisation, email support@toolfy.io with your company size, country, billing requirements, and desired go-live date.
