Complete a job step-by-step
- Open today's job list at toolfy.io/field.
- Tap job card → `Start Job` to mark in progress.
- Complete work checklist items as you go (if configured by office).
- Take before/after photos—camera uploads directly to job record.
- Add internal notes for office team (parts used, issues found, etc.).
- Collect customer signature on mobile device.
- Tap `Complete Job` → Invoice generated automatically (if enabled).

Take and upload photos
- Take before photos when you arrive (establishes baseline condition).

First-time technician onboarding
New technicians see a guided tour on first login. Wizard walks through job viewing, photo capture, and completion flow.

Troubleshooting
Jobs not showing
- Confirm office assigned jobs to your user account (check with manager).
- Refresh page—jobs load automatically but manual refresh helps.
- Verify you're logged in with correct technician account (not manager account).
Photos won't upload
- Check mobile data or Wi-Fi connection—photos queue offline and upload when online.
- Photo size limit: 10MB per file (reduce quality if camera shoots huge files).
- Clear browser cache if uploads consistently fail after regaining signal.
Signature not saving
- Ensure customer draws signature (not just tapping screen).
- Signature canvas requires JavaScript—check browser isn't blocking it.
- Try different browser if signature pad doesn't respond (Chrome/Safari work best).
