Five-step reset flow
- Go to the Toolfy login page and choose `Forgot password?`.
- Enter the email address tied to your account and submit.
- Check your inbox for an email titled `Reset your Toolfy password` (arrives within a minute).
- Click the `Reset password` button inside the email—the link expires after one hour.
- Enter a new password, confirm it, and save. You are signed in straight away.
The reset email logs you in automatically once you set a new password—no need to return to the login screen.
What the reset email looks like
- Sender: `noreply@toolfy.io`.
- Includes a single big button—no attachments or form fields.
- Shows the request time and IP so you can spot anything suspicious.
- Contains guidance to ignore the email if you did not request a reset.
Create a strong password
- At least 8 characters (we recommend going longer for extra safety).
- Use a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Avoid reusing passwords from other services.
- Store it in a password manager so your team does not need to share logins.
Troubleshooting
Email not received
Check spam or junk folders, add `noreply@toolfy.io` to your contacts, and ask your IT team to safelist the domain if you use a company email.
Wrong email on file
Contact an account admin to update your email under Settings → Team, then request another reset.
Link expired
Reset links last for one hour. Repeat the flow to generate a fresh link—older ones are automatically disabled.
Suspicious activity
If you received a reset email you did not initiate, change your password immediately and contact Toolfy support so we can review recent logins.
