Connect Postmark for Transactional Email
Route invoices, reminders, and portal invites through Postmark so you get rock-solid deliverability, spam complaint insights, and DMARC alignment.
Before you start
- Postmark account with Server API token
- Verified sending domain (SPF + DKIM)
- Toolfy admin permissions
Connect Toolfy to Postmark
- Settings → Integrations → Postmark
- Paste your Server API token and click Connect
- Add the From name and email address you want customers to see
- Optionally override reply-to and BCC addresses
- Send a test email to confirm deliverability
Verify your domain
SPF
Add `include:spf.mtasv.net` to your existing SPF record so Postmark is authorised to send for your domain.
DKIM
Create the DKIM CNAME records Postmark provides. Propagation can take up to 15 minutes.
Link tracking
Enable click tracking in Postmark to see when customers interact with invoices or reminders.
Monitor deliverability
Deliverability logs
Open Settings → Logs to search for bounces, suppressions, or spam complaints.
Bounce handling
Toolfy automatically pauses email for suppressed recipients and falls back to SMS where possible.
Attribution
Every email sent via Postmark includes the `x-agent` header so you can filter machine-triggered traffic downstream.
