Toolfy's Stripe Connect integration goes beyond basic payment processing. View real-time account status, monitor payouts, track disputes, and stay on top of verification requirements directly from your dashboard.
Connect your Stripe account
If you haven't connected Stripe yet, follow these steps. Existing Stripe users can link their account in under 2 minutes.
- Navigate to Settings → Payments in Toolfy.
- Click `Connect with Stripe` to launch onboarding.
- Complete business details (entity info, owner details, bank account).
- Stripe returns you to Toolfy after approval.
What you can monitor in Toolfy
- View available balance and pending payouts in real-time.
- Track instant payout eligibility (settles in 30 minutes for 0.5% fee).
- Review recent payouts with date, amount, and status.
- Monitor disputes and required account verification steps.
- Access 30-day fee summary and payment volume metrics.
Navigate to Settings → Payments to view live status. Toolfy refreshes data each time you load the page, pulling the latest balance and payout info from Stripe.
Advanced features
Balance tracking
See available funds, pending amounts, and instant payout eligibility directly in Toolfy without opening Stripe.
Payout monitoring
View upcoming payouts, recent settlement history, and expected arrival dates for cash flow planning.
Dispute alerts
Get notified when customers dispute charges so you can respond with evidence quickly.
Verification status
Track requirements due (identity docs, bank verification) and deadlines to avoid payout delays.
Account verification requirements
Stripe may request additional documentation to verify your identity and business. Complete these promptly to avoid payout delays.
Identity verification
Stripe may request government ID for ownership verification. Upload directly in Stripe Dashboard.
Bank account verification
Micro-deposits or instant verification via Plaid. Confirm within 10 days to enable payouts.
Business documents
Proof of address, tax documents, or articles of incorporation for high-volume accounts.
Access Stripe Dashboard
For advanced settings, detailed reports, or to update business details, click Open Stripe Dashboard in Settings → Payments. Toolfy generates a secure login link that takes you directly to your Stripe account.
The Stripe Dashboard shows:
- Transaction-level details (refunds, partial captures, disputes).
- Tax settings and automatic tax calculation configuration.
- Payout schedule customization (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Webhook logs and API event history.
- Downloadable CSV reports for accounting software.
Troubleshooting
Account disconnected
- Check Stripe Dashboard for required actions or pending verification tasks.
- If account was deleted in Stripe, reconnect by clicking Settings → Payments → Connect with Stripe.
- Toolfy automatically detects deleted accounts and prompts you to reconnect.
Payout delays
- Complete verification requirements shown in Settings → Payments status section.
- Standard payouts settle in 1-2 business days; first payout may take 5-7 days.
- Weekends and bank holidays push settlement to the next business day.
Balance not updating
- Toolfy refreshes Stripe status every time you view Settings → Payments.
- If discrepancies persist, open Stripe Dashboard to verify payment status.
- Webhooks update automatically—if invoices show as paid in Stripe but not Toolfy, contact support.
