- Open the job on your phone and scroll to the Photos section.
- Tap `Add photo` and choose `Take photo` to launch the camera.

What to document
Before
- Capture the problem area from at least two angles.
- Photograph serial numbers, model plates, and any safety notices.
- Note obstructions or access constraints to warn colleagues.
During
- Record hidden work (e.g. wiring, pipe runs) before covering it back up.
- Document parts installed and any unexpected damage found.
- Save quick clips or bursts if you need to show progression (up to 15s).
After
- Highlight the finished result, cleaned workspace, and safety signage.
- Add annotated photos for customer reports or compliance certificates.
- Share with the customer portal so they see professional workmanship.
Best practices
- Wipe the lens and use natural light where possible. Tap to focus on the subject before shooting.
- Capture context (wide shot), detail (close-up), and the finished result to tell the full story.
- Keep notes short and consistent—e.g. `Before`, `During`, `After`—so colleagues can skim quickly.
- If reception is poor, capture offline; Toolfy uploads automatically when you reconnect.
Troubleshooting
Upload stuck or slow
Stay on the job screen until the spinner completes or move to better signal. Toolfy queues photos and sends them automatically once you reconnect.
Photo orientation wrong
Rotate the device before capturing. You can re-upload if needed—delete the original from the job timeline to keep it tidy.
Storage warning on device
Toolfy stores photos in the cloud after upload; it is safe to delete the original from your camera roll once synced.
