Switch between day and week view to plan your workload, spot conflicts early, and keep technicians productive.
Day view
Perfect for daily operations—see every job, travel window, and status for a single day.
- Hour-by-hour timeline with travel buffers and overlap warnings.
- See customer name, address, job status, and assigned technician at a glance.
- Drag jobs to adjust start times or extend duration with minute-level precision.
- Today button snaps back to the current date after reviewing future work.
- Schedule → Day view. Use the date picker or arrow keys to choose the day.
- Review the morning schedule. Confirm travel times and address any clashes flagged in red.
- Drag jobs to reshape the day—Toolfy updates technician notifications automatically.
- Drop emergency visits into free slots; extend jobs that ran over by pulling the edge.
Week view
Plan ahead, balance the team’s workload, and schedule follow-up visits in one place.
- Seven-day overview to balance workload across the week.
- See multiple technicians side by side (Team/Business plans).
- Identify gaps for new bookings and move jobs between days.
- Duplicate follow-up visits quickly by dragging while holding Shift.
- Schedule → Week view to see Monday–Sunday at a glance.
- Scan for overloaded or empty days—drag jobs between days to balance.
- Use drag-and-copy to place follow-up visits without retyping details.
- Use filters (technician, team, job status) to focus on specific workloads.
Scheduling shortcuts
- Press D for day view, W for week view—no mouse needed.
- Hold Shift while dragging to copy a job to a new slot (handy for follow-up visits).
- Use the search bar to jump straight to a customer or job number from the schedule.
- Toggle travel segments on/off in the top-right menu if you need a cleaner view.
